Predator installed in another Town Centre

360 Vision captured yet another town centre project, supplying 20 Predator units for upgrade to a major town centre system……………

Predator chosen ahead of competitors!

360 Vision’s Predator was recently selected ahead of competition from Bosch and Ganz to be installed at prestigious chemical plant near Chester. The installer in question chose Predator as it offered support and service from a UK based design and manufacturer, along with features not available on other conceptually similar products

360 Launch Enhanced Patented White Light Predator & Long Range IR Predator

White light predator camera

360 Vision Technology have announced the immediate release of  Enhanced Patented White Light Predator camera & Long Range IR Predator camera– featuring embedded mixed technology High Intensity IR Light and White Light to give true Colour at Night CCTV images and fantastic deterrent value!

The New Combined Technology White Light Predator camera has the capability to give the customer full video colour images to at up to 120m. This is achieved by enabling a high intensity White LED Light on alarm, but also using the combined dual IR lamps  to provide full video monochrome images at distances of up to 120m. an industry first for deterrent + quality images.

The White light predator is unique and the deterrent value it gives is second to none. With the ability to either automate or control through an operator. The white light feature offers a search light effect that not only causes intruders extreme discomfort when captured in its intense beam but clear crisp images for the authorities to use after an event. This is unique in the world of security. Metal theft is one area that will see a reduction as a result of this combined technology.

The New IR150 Predator can deliver full video monochrome images to 150m – completely unique and previously unheard of on comparable PTZ camera products!

Patented Technology

Predator CCTV cameras use Patented technology in this British made 360 vision product. lights are only ever switched on when the camera itself determines that light levels make this a necessity.Other systems use less than accurate methods. These generally include timer switches or photo electric cells. there is of course always the option for manual control.

Reduced power consumption is yet another reason to deploy the 360 vision Predator camera.Utilising high beam but low power LEDs, both White Light and IR offers installers and end users alike the ability to reduce costs through reduced power consumption.

We saw recently that Bosch had launched a new camera……looks like the Brits are also busy creating new innovative products!

The clever folks up at 360 Vision Technology have gone and launched a Thermal version of their Predator product to complement their excellent range of IR and IP based PTZ Camera products.

Not only have they put the superb FLIR Tau module (complete with unto 35mm lens promising 750+ metres of detection!!) but they have also kitted the unit with an IR illuminator to support the existing Sony WDR analogue camera!

So, 360 Vision have responded with, what we believe, is the only Thermal and analogue PTZ equipped with IR on the market…!

This is going to create some massive interest, not only in Aviation and Military specifications, but also in areas where Thermal is a must……

And that’s not all!

They are busy finishing off their ATEX Class 1 & 2 Explosion proof units for Petro-Chemical and Gas environments…….could the Predator get any more rugged !!

Metal Mickey vs Predator

Sounds like some kind of  film title. Today we look at the new Predator dome recently released by 360 vision and see how it compares with the market leader , the Metal Mickey.

Metal Mickey

We have all seen the Metal Mickey camera on Big Brother. It watches imperiously over the contestants and definitely lets them know that they are under surveillance. This is the beauty of the Metal Mickey,  it has a “presence” and this is undoubtedly behind its  success over the last few years. It now however has a competitor. It ‘s called the PREDATOR.

Predator.

This fantastic new camera developed by the innovative team at 360 Vision has covered every aspect of what customers are looking for in this high profile type of camera. The name Predator is brilliant because the camera seems to mimic its famous namesake from the film. It is intimidating, rugged but strangely graceful in the way it moves, somewhat different from the more robotic Metal Mickey.

What sets the Predator apart from the rest?

So what benefits does it claim to have over competitor products?  Well certainly its aesthetic mechanical design. It also boasts a 3 phase motor for quiet smooth and totally accurate control. It has back to back bearings on the pan motion to ensure wobble free operation. Predator comes as both an analogue camera and an IP camera to ensure it is suitable to integrate into any security solution. The Predator is also very simple to use . It is set up via a PC or laptop and features extensive on-screen menus. It also comes with multiple protocols to fit into any existing CCTV system.

Quality.

360 vision really have come up with a gem here. It will fit in to any environment and is essentially “rugged but with style”. As this type of  security solution becomes ever more popular this well priced camera can only go from strength to strength in the Integrated CCTV market place.
